After JETRO “Product Category Market-in Seminar (Liquor: Shochu and Awamori) in France  “Thinking about the Possibility and Promotion of Shochu and Awamori in France “

As announced earlier, JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) held a seminar on “Market-in Seminar by Category (Liquor: Shochu and Awamori)” on Friday, September 3, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Japan time). (*9:00 to 11:00 a.m. France time on Friday, September 3).

Together with Mr. Thierry Daniel, President of LIQUID LIQUID, and Mr. Jun Yonekawa, President of MONDUNIQUE, our partners in the shochu and awamori export business, Mr. Masafumi Terasawa, President and Representative Director of our company, took the stage to talk about how to promote shochu and awamori in Europe, focusing on our past promotional activities in France. 

A new business relationship has started.We played a video of Mr. Thierry Benitha, President of La Maison Du Whisky, one of the largest distributors of liquor in France, talking about the potential of not only the French market but also the international market.We also had an interview with NICOLAS JULHES, one of the most influential people in the spirits industry not only in France but also in Europe, who spoke about the potential of shochu and awamori in his lyrical and poetic way. The seminar ended with such a lot of content.

It was a great pleasure to have more than 200 people participate in the event and we were able to finish it successfully. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the breweries, and everyone involved for their support.
